If introduced, every eligible ranked product is treated consistently and every compensated link is labeled beside the link.
Commercial disclosure
No hidden commissions. No purchasable verdict.
Niched separates evidence, editorial judgment, and revenue. Every material commercial relationship must be visible where it can affect how a recommendation is interpreted.
The buyer should never need to inspect a redirect to discover who paid us.
Compensation is disclosed beside the relevant action. The full relationship remains in this register. Affiliate status and commission rate never enter a score, rank, shortlist, caveat, or correction.
What can be sold, and what cannot.
This register changes before any commercial relationship goes live, not after somebody notices it.
A sponsor may fund the evaluation of a category, but cannot choose the winner, edit the conclusion, or suppress an unfavorable result.
Founders may pay for alerts, history, and competitor monitoring. Payment cannot improve rank, evidence coverage, niche assignment, or correction outcomes.
Four rules before money touches a recommendation page.
- Label the link. “Affiliate link” appears beside the compensated action.
- Publish the relationship. Provider, scope, start date, and commercial type enter this register.
- Exclude it from judgment. Compensation cannot change the rubric, evidence threshold, rank, or caveat.
- Remove source conflicts. A company cannot simultaneously supply ranking evidence and pay Niched.
Who is paying Niched right now.
Every active advertising slot appears here for as long as it runs, with its tier and end date. Advertising is sold on /advertise and buys attention only. The ranking code has no import path to sponsorship state.
This policy establishes the commercial boundary before monetization begins. Paid monitoring opens only after the underlying history and alerts are proven. Advertising is separate: it is sold against attention, never against placement, and every live slot is listed above.
